Travel Tip Tuesday - Copy Copy!

As all of our serious traveling readers know, preparing for a trip by reading a variety of travel guides is often a "must do" - and it can be hard to leave the precious knowledge at home.  Yes, we know that there are lots of apps for iPhones and Android devices related to traveling, and we have those too, but there is something about physical books that we still love, right?

However, those travel guides can be heavy. Our solution?  Instead of carrying around complete travel guides, photocopy the relevant pages before you leave and just take those along during the day.  And when you are done, throw them away and have one less thing to carry with you either back home or on to your next spot.  Or take notes on them so you can remember what you did and saw on your trip.

PS - For any of you lawyers, or paranoid types out there - as long as you are copying pages out of books you own, it is indeed fair use and not copyright infringement because you are not depriving the author or publisher of commercial revenue!
